AI Angineer Lead - Job Description

  • Lead a team of AI Engineers in designing, developing, and deploying ML/AI models in production.

  • Provide technical direction and mentorship on model architecture, data processing, and optimization.

  • Research and evaluate cutting-edge AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Engineering) to integrate AI into real-world applications.

  • Drive the development of scalable, maintainable, and efficient AI systems.

  • Ensure best practices in model versioning, reproducibility, and monitoring in production.

  • Communicate project status, technical challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).

  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role.

  • Proficient in Python and experienced with ML/AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.).

  • Proven experience in building and deploying AI models in production environments.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Experience working with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Ability to manage projects independently and guide a team toward technical excellence.

Priorities (not a must-have)

  • Experience with RAG and vector databases.
  • Nice to have: API & APP
  • Experience working on real-world AI products such as chatbots, virtual assistants, or smart search engines.
  • Prompt engineering expertise and workflow orchestration using LangGraph or similar tools.
  • Ability to read research papers and rapidly prototype new ideas.
  • Strong interest in Generative AI, Agent frameworks, or autonomous systems.

Personal Skills

  • Good communication skill in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong leadership with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on data-driven decision making.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

  • Open-minded and eager to learn emerging AI technologies.

  • Strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving attitude.

  • Collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
