New Ocean IS Company Trip 2026: From forest to sea
From July 10 to 12, 2026, the New Ocean IS team stepped away from the usual work routine for our annual Company Trip 2026 in Xuyen Moc and Ho Tram.
Previous company trips have often brought us to the coast for a few days of rest and recreation. This year, we added something different to the itinerary: spending time closer to nature at Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, with trekking, outdoor activities, and plenty of time to reconnect with colleagues.
Three days may not sound long, but it was enough to change the pace, get moving, and create moments that are difficult to find during a normal working week.
Company Trip 2026: A New Destination for New Ocean IS
This year’s destination combined two very different settings: the forest landscapes of Xuyen Moc and the coastline of Ho Tram.
Located in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Xuyen Moc is known for its natural surroundings, long coastline, and quieter atmosphere. As part of the trip, the New Ocean IS team visited Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, adding a forest experience to the beach-focused trips many of us were already familiar with.
Instead of spending the entire trip at a resort, the team had the opportunity to walk through the forest, take part in outdoor activities, and explore a different side of the region.
Trekking Through Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve
One of the most memorable parts of Company Trip 2026 was the trekking experience at Phuoc Buu.
For a while, laptops, meeting rooms, and project schedules were replaced by forest trails, fresh air, and a route that everyone experienced together.
The activity was less about reaching a difficult destination and more about enjoying the journey. Team members could walk at a comfortable pace, take in the surroundings, and talk with colleagues along the way.
At the office, conversations often happen between meetings or around specific tasks. On a trail, they tend to take a different direction. A discussion may start with work, move to personal interests, and continue into topics that rarely come up during the working day.
Those small conversations became part of the experience.
From the Forests of Phuoc Buu to the Coast of Ho Tram
After time spent among the trees, Ho Tram brought a different rhythm to the trip.
The coastal setting created a natural balance between outdoor activity and rest. Rather than filling every hour with scheduled activities, the trip also gave team members time to enjoy the destination in their own way.
Some preferred group activities. Others simply wanted some quiet time near the sea. Small groups gathered for conversations, photos, meals, and moments together outside the workplace.
Many of the best memories from a company trip are often the ones that were never written into the schedule.
Getting to Know Each Other Beyond the Workplace
During a normal working week, people tend to focus on projects, deadlines, and their own responsibilities. A company trip changes those interactions.
Colleagues from different teams have more opportunities to spend time together, while people who rarely work directly with one another can finally have longer conversations.
Team connection does not always require a packed agenda of team-building exercises.
Sometimes it comes from walking the same trail, sharing a meal, waiting for someone during a trek, or having a conversation that has nothing to do with work.
After three days together, the team returned with more than another collection of photos. We also came back with stories and shared experiences that belonged to everyone who joined the journey.
Three Days Together, and Back to the Journey Ahead
The New Ocean IS Company Trip 2026 in Xuyen Moc and Ho Tram came to an end after three days, from July 10 to 12.
From trekking through Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve to slowing down by the coast of Ho Tram, the trip gave everyone a welcome change of pace after months of work.
Soon enough, it was back to the office, ongoing projects, meetings, and familiar schedules.
But this time, there was one more trip in the shared photo album and a few more stories to bring back to work.
And on one of those busy days ahead, perhaps looking back at a photo from Xuyen Moc will be enough to remember a summer spent together with New Ocean IS.
