Averlution Joins A*STAR ARTC to Advance Manufacturing AI

Averlution Joins A*STAR ARTC Industry Consortium

Averlution, part of the New Ocean IS technology ecosystem, has officially joined the A*STAR Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC) industry consortium in Singapore.

As a new ARTC member, Averlution recently participated in the ARTC Bi-Annual Technical Meeting, connecting with fellow members, industry experts and organizations working across advanced manufacturing and industrial technology.

This milestone supports Averlution’s direction of bringing practical AI into enterprise and manufacturing environments.

At the center of this direction is the Digital Engineer, a specialized AI agent designed to handle one clearly defined engineering issue with the relevant knowledge, operational context and working boundaries.

Rather than building general-purpose AI for every problem, Averlution focuses on creating AI that can work like a specialized engineer for a specific task. One of the first target use cases is machine downtime diagnosis, where the Digital Engineer can support teams in analyzing alarms, identifying likely causes and proposing actions based on available evidence.

Through its membership in ARTC, Averlution aims to exchange knowledge with the wider manufacturing community, explore practical industrial use cases and continue developing AI capabilities that can support real operational challenges.

For New Ocean IS, this milestone also strengthens the broader direction of connecting industrial digitalization, manufacturing systems and enterprise AI.

AI that works like an engineer, focused on one issue at a time.
