Senior BA - Job Description

Key Responsibility

  • Close collaboration with the client for design and management purposes (requirements gathering, analyzing, documenting, confirmation, elaboration, etc.).
  • Identify Non-Functional Requirements associated with the proposed solution as well as potential risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product vision, priorities, and roadmap; clarify and manage product backlog.
  • Work closely with developers and testers to ensure high-quality delivery and clear understanding of requirements.
  • Determine business needs and define optimal solution approaches; document requirements (BRD, SRS, Use Case Spec).
  • Assist clients in defining requirements and proactively suggest ideas and improvements.
  • Quickly absorb and understand domain knowledge.
  • Analyze proposals and develop solutions for business process optimization in specific industries.
  • Support test documentation (test plan, test strategy, test cases) and verify bugs/issues with clients.
  • Participate in planning, risk assessment, and resolving conflicts between team members or clients.
  • Train team members on business analysis fundamentals and improve development processes.
  • Actively leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Notion AI) in daily work to support requirement analysis, documentation, stakeholder communication, and enhance productivity in writing specifications, summarizing meetings, and clarifying requirements.
  • Apply an AI-first mindset to improve efficiency, elevate output quality, and accelerate delivery. Candidates who effectively leverage AI tools in their daily work are highly preferred.

Qualification Requirements​

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Analysis.
  • Solid IT knowledge base.
  • Ability to use tools (Edraw, Visio, PowerPoint) to draw flowcharts.
  • Ability to design UI prototypes (Pencil, Balsamiq, Visio, etc.).
  • Fluent English to communicate directly with customers (TOEFL 650 or equivalent or higher).
  • At least 4+ years of experience.
  • Proven client-facing experience.

Priorities (not a must-have)

  • Experience business analyst skills in Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain,…
  • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) to support analysis, documentation, and productivity is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to integrate AI into daily BA work to improve efficiency, accuracy, and communication is highly valued.
