Quality Control - Job Description

Key Responsibility

  • Learn and understand business requirements and Acceptance Criteria with guidance from the QC team.
  • Support the design and execution of basic test scenarios and test cases.
  • Perform manual testing such as Functional, Smoke, Regression, and basic Integration Testing.
  • Execute test cases in DEV, TEST, and UAT environments under guidance.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, and work with Developers and Business Analysts to clarify issues.
  • Perform basic data validation using SQL queries with guidance when necessary.
  • Use Browser Developer Tools, such as Console and Network, to support basic issue investigation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Reviews.
  • Learn and apply QC best practices while continuously improving testing skills.
  • Leverage AI tools to support test case creation, test scenario brainstorming, documentation, and learning, while validating AI-generated results.

Qualification Requirements​

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Manual Testing
  • Experience testing web applications; experience with enterprise systems is a plus.
  • Basic experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Basic knowledge and practical experience in test case design and test execution.
  • Basic experience with API testing using Postman.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
  • Experience using Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.
  • Ability to prepare basic test documentation, including Test Cases, Checklists, and Test Reports.
  • Basic understanding of defect analysis and root cause identification.
  • Good English 
  • Basic practical experience using AI tools to support testing activities, such as test case generation, test scenario brainstorming, and test documentation

  • Experience mentoring junior team members.
  • Ability to identify requirement gaps and quality risks early.
  • Experience estimating testing effort.
  • Strong understanding of risk-based testing.
  • Ability to improve test coverage using AI.
  • Awareness of AI limitations, data privacy, and security concerns.
