(DxFAC)

Stakeholder Communication & Customer Engagement

  • Work directly with stakeholders (Production, Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Warehouse, IT, etc.) to understand operational pain points and business needs
  • Lead and facilitate: Requirement workshops, Solution discussions, Clarification sessions
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Proactively ask questions and challenge unclear assumptions
  • Manage and clarify: Ambiguous requirements, Incomplete information, Conflicting inputs across stakeholders
  • Act as a communication bridge between: Business users, Developers, QA teams, Project managers
  • Conduct onsite discussions and observe real factory operations when required
  • Support: UAT, User training, Go-live, Issue investigation

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements
  • Define and document: As-is processes, To-be processes
  • Analyze manufacturing operations and propose practical MES solutions
  • Design MES functionalities, including: Production tracking, Work-in-progress (WIP) management, Traceability, Downtime monitoring, Quality workflows, System integrations (ERP, SCADA, IoT, machine connectivity)

Documentation & Specifications

Prepare and maintain project documentation:

  • Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
  • User Stories / Use Cases
  • BPMN / Process flow diagrams
  • Data mapping and integration specifications
  • UAT scenarios and supporting materials

Project Lifecycle Participation

  • Participate in the full project lifecycle: Requirement Analysis, Solution Design, Development Support, UAT, Go-live, Hypercare / Post-implementation support
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Proactively identify:, Risks, Operational gaps, Issues and improvement opportunities
  • Support: Issue investigation, Root cause analysis, Solution validation

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Experience in: Requirement gathering with customers, At least one end-to-end project (initiation to go-live)
  • Domain knowledge in: MES / Manufacturing systems / Industrial software
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing concepts: Production processes, Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing, Work orders, Shop floor operations,Production reporting and traceability
  • Strong skills in: Requirement elicitation, Analytical thinking, Problem-solving, Documentation (BRD, FRD, etc.)

Priorities (not a must-have)

  • Experience in: MES implementation projects, System integration (APIs, middleware, machine connectivity)
  • Basic knowledge of: SQL / data analysis
  • Experience working with ERP systems: SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
  • English proficiency for: Customer communication, Documentation

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to: Lead workshops and discussions Ask structured, probing questions
  • Effective communication with: Business users, Technical teams
  • Confidence in: Leading meetings independently, Handling customer-facing discussions
  • Ability to: Handle ambiguity, Drive discussions toward decisions, Present workflows and solutions clearly, Challenge requirements professionally and constructively
