Business Development Executive (Manufacturing)

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and consultative Business Development Executive to drive business growth in the manufacturing and industrial sectors. This role focuses on understanding customer operational challenges and proposing suitable digital transformation solutions such as MES, WMS, SCADA, IoT, Traceability, Cloud, and Microsoft/Azure technologies.

The ideal candidate has strong B2B sales experience in IT/software/industrial solutions and is passionate about helping enterprises improve operations through technology.

Key Responsibility

  • Develop and expand business opportunities within manufacturing and industrial sectors
  • Identify customer pain points, operational challenges, and digital transformation needs
  • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting → consulting → proposal → negotiation → closing → handover
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Propose suitable solutions including MES, WMS, SCADA, IoT, Traceability, Cloud, and related platforms
  • Coordinate with presales and technical teams to prepare demos, proposals, and presentations
  • Achieve sales KPIs including revenue, GP, and new customer acquisition
  • Maintain and manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and opportunity tracking
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends
  • Support marketing activities such as events, workshops, and customer engagement programs

Qualification Requirements​

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of B2B sales or business development experience
  • Experience selling IT/software/cloud/industrial automation/system integration solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with enterprise or manufacturing clients is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related fields
  • Good English communication skills
  • Understanding of MES, WMS, SCADA, IoT, Traceability, Cloud
  • Familiarity with Microsoft/Azure ecosystem
  • Knowledge of industrial platforms (e.g., AVEVA, Siemens, Rockwell) is a plus
  • Experience in digital transformation or solution consulting is an advantage
  • Ability to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) for sales productivity

Priorities (not a must-have)

  • Familiar with platforms like AVEVA, Siemens, Rockwell
  • Experience with Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Power Platform)
  • Background in IT, software, automation, or system integration
  • Able to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to enhance sales productivity
