AI Angineer Lead - Job Description
Lead a team of AI Engineers in designing, developing, and deploying ML/AI models in production.
Provide technical direction and mentorship on model architecture, data processing, and optimization.
Research and evaluate cutting-edge AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Engineering) to integrate AI into real-world applications.
Drive the development of scalable, maintainable, and efficient AI systems.
Ensure best practices in model versioning, reproducibility, and monitoring in production.
Communicate project status, technical challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Technical Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role.
Proficient in Python and experienced with ML/AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.).
Proven experience in building and deploying AI models in production environments.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience working with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Ability to manage projects independently and guide a team toward technical excellence.
Priorities (not a must-have)
- Experience with RAG and vector databases.
- Nice to have: API & APP
- Experience working on real-world AI products such as chatbots, virtual assistants, or smart search engines.
- Prompt engineering expertise and workflow orchestration using LangGraph or similar tools.
- Ability to read research papers and rapidly prototype new ideas.
- Strong interest in Generative AI, Agent frameworks, or autonomous systems.
Personal Skills
- Good communication skill in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken)
Strong leadership with the ability to inspire and guide technical teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on data-driven decision making.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Open-minded and eager to learn emerging AI technologies.
