AI Engineer - Job Description
- Adopt an AI-first approach in designing and delivering solutions, leveraging AI/LLMs to optimize development, decision-making, and productivity.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models to solve real-world problems.
- Build LLM-powered applications such as chatbots, copilots, and AI agents.
- Design and implement agent-based systems capable of reasoning, tool usage, and multi-step task execution.
- Develop and optimize RAG pipelines (embedding, retrieval, re-ranking) to ensure high accuracy and performance.
- Evaluate and select appropriate models and architectures (LLMs, classification, regression, clustering, recommendation, etc.).
- Fine-tune and optimize models for accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., GPT, Copilot, Claude) to automate workflows and enhance engineering productivity.
- Build and maintain LLM orchestration pipelines using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or similar.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance using tools such as LangSmith or equivalent.
- Collaborate with product, backend, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned modules or projects and deliver results independently.
- Continuously explore and integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into products and internal workflows.
- Deliver measurable impact through AI solutions (e.g., improved accuracy, reduced cost, increased automation rate).
Technical Skills
- Strong AI-first mindset: proactively leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, automate tasks, and support decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience as an AI Engineer or similar role.
- Proficient in Python and familiar with ML/AI frameworks.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML models in production.
- Strong ability to work independently: from research and prototyping to implementation and testing.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Priorities (not a must-have)
- Experience with RAG and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
- Experience building real-world AI products (chatbots, virtual assistants, smart search systems).
- Experience designing APIs or integrating AI into applications.
- Strong prompt engineering and workflow orchestration skills.
- Ability to read research papers and rapidly prototype new ideas.

- Good communication skills in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken).
