Business Analyst - Job Description

Key Responsibility

Digital Transformation

  • Work closely with clients to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements for Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into clear documentation (BRD, SRS, Use Cases, User Stories).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and manage product backlog.
  • Act as the bridge between clients, developers, and QA to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes, especially in manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.
  • Identify functional and non-functional requirements, risks, and propose suitable solutions.
  • Support UAT, write test documentation, and coordinate issue validation with clients.
  • Conduct onsite client meetings to gather requirements and drive alignment.
  • Train and guide team members on business analysis best practices.

AI-First

  • Apply an AI-first mindset to improve requirement analysis, documentation, and communication.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI) to:
    • Summarize meetings and extract insights
    • Generate and refine requirements/specifications
    • Improve productivity and clarity in stakeholder communication
  • Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for AI/ML applications in products and operations.
  • Translate business problems into AI use cases (prediction, recommendation, classification, automation).
  • Work with data/AI teams to define:
    • Data requirements
    • Model objectives
    • Evaluation metrics
  • Evaluate feasibility and business impact of AI-driven features.
  • Support testing and validation of AI models to ensure alignment with business expectations.
  • Stay updated with AI trends and proactively recommend new solutions/tools.

Qualification Requirements​

Technical Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, or related fields.
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects.
  • Strong experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation (BRD, SRS, Use Cases).
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in client-facing roles, working directly with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools: Visio, Edraw, PowerPoint, or similar for flowcharting.
  • Experience in UI prototyping tools (Balsamiq, Pencil, Figma, etc.).
  • Good English communication skills (working with international clients).

Priorities (not a must-have)

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Systems.
  • Exposure to Digital Transformation (DXF) projects.
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and use cases.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly responsible.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new domains.
  • Confident working directly with international clients.
